Community Brass
a youth band based in
East Renfrewshire
Levern Valley Community Brass was formed in August 2007 as a partnership between East Renfrewshire Instrumental Music Service and Barrhead Burgh Band
The aims and objectives of the band are to advance and encourage the education of children and young people between the ages of 8 and 19 in performance, practice and theory of music by providing the facilities, equipment and human resources which are necessary to this object.
The band also wishes to promote, improve, develop and maintain the brass band genre in and to support the local communities of Barrhead and East Renfrewshire.
